Career & Technical Education

Welcome to the Career & Technical Department of Leech Lake Tribal College where you will be taught the skills and knowledge for employment as a police officer, carpenter, business manager or electrician. In addition, the department offers custom training and continuing education opportunities for brushing up on or advancing your skills in many fields of study.

As director, it is my responsibility to assure that classroom and hands-on teaching match job skills identified by employers. To that end, our teachers are industry experts with many years of experience, and through self-employment as well as continuing education, they keep current on their skills.

In addition, I am responsible for assuring that when you graduate from one of our programs, you have learned to create a resume and cover letter that you can be proud to present to potential employers.

Sincerely,

Rocky Carpenter
