Types of Gifts
The simplest and fastest way to give to Leech Lake Tribal College to use your credit or debit card to make a gift on LLTC’s secure online giving site. Your gift is transferred immediately to LLTC and is tax deductible.

Gifts may be made as a pledge to be paid over a specified period. Please contact the Advancement Office to work out the details of your pledge.
Gifts of securities, including stocks and bonds, to Leech Lake Tribal College may be made, and when stock is transferred directly to Leech Lake Tribal College, you do not have to pay capital gains tax – a potentially major tax benefit to you! You also may want to explore other gifts such as real estate, personal property, and life insurance. All are tax-deductible, and all can provide significant benefit to LLTC and its students.
A planned, or deferred, gift — such as a bequest made through your will or a gift of life insurance — enables you to make a larger gift to LLTC than you may have thought possible, while providing financial security for you and your family. Planned gifts can be as simple as an outright bequest of a certain percentage of your estate value, or a more complex giving vehicle such as a lead or remainder trust. We’ll be happy to work with you and your legal or financial counsel to develop a plan that will benefit you and LLTC.
Endowments are essential to developing and maintaining quality programs at Leech Lake Tribal College. You can endow a scholarship, a professorship or department chair, or many other options. The minimum amount for an endowed gift is $20,000, which can be transferred all at once or over a period of time.
