As a team member within the College, the Office of Human Resources is committed to attracting, encouraging and retaining a qualified workforce to support the mission of the College. One major goal is to assist management in the most effective use of their most important resource, the employees of the College.

Mission of LLTC HR

The mission of the Human Resource Office is to proactively formulate human resource polices that enhance the quality of academic and administrative work environment; to collaborate with all departments in supporting effective recruitment and retention of highly qualified administrative, faculty and staff workforce; to be a strategic partner in creating a work environment which supports Leech Lake Tribal College mission statement and which fosters lifelong learning, individual achievement, teamwork, integrity, professionalism and accountability; and assist in enhancing Anishinaabe culture, values, language and knowledge while integrating Leech Lake Tribal College Mission Statement.

Vision of LLTC HR

With collaboration and partnership with the college community will strive to provide high quality services to build and retain a talented and diverse work force necessary to support the College’s mission statement and continuously enhance the quality of academic and administrate work environments. Will strive to encourage and support professional development of students, faculty, and staff at all times while advocating Anishinaabe culture.
