Dancers must be dressed in full regalia and registered for both sessions to receive honorarium.
LLTC Committee will not tolerate any drug/alcohol use while on property. Fighting or gang activities to promote a negative atmosphere will not be allowed. Any violations will result in removal from Powwow grounds by security and/or onsite law enforcement personnel. This institution is an equal opportunity provider and employer.
Mission
The mission of the Leech Lake Tribal College Student Princess and Brave Program is to promote, recruit, remind, and provide educational opportunities to outstanding individuals and carry out the mission of LLTC by providing quality higher education grounded in Anishinaabe values.
Vision
The vision of the Leech Lake Tribal College Student Princess and Brave Program is to enhance the LLTC vision of becoming recognized as a center of academic excellence. The LLTC Student Princess and Brave Program will provide an opportunity to individuals to gain additional life experience, increase personal and professional skills, and to develop performance-related & other talents; while illustrating to concerned constituents the importance of tradition and recruitment/retention primarily at powwows and other events that involve the community, school functions, etc.
